This is a 3D reconstruction model of a building in Amsterdam that does not exist anymore. The model is based on historical maps, drawings and late 19th century photography.
The research and the modelling was executed by the 4D Research Lab within the Diaspora & Identity project at the University of Amsterdam.
This model is part of a larger model of the former Vlooienburg neighbourhood, on display in the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam for the duration of the Waterlooplein exhibition.
This online presentation of the model was done for the Pure3D project, which aims to develop an infrastructure for the online publication and preservation of 3D scholarship.
