The current location of the sculpture is in the Stijlkamer of museum van Bommel van Dam. The Stijlkamer, or so called ‘period room’, is located in the basement of the museum. It's a representation of the living room of the couple, including the original furniture, personal objects and several collection pieces. The sculpture is one of the objects present in the room, and can be found on the top of the cupboard on the right.
Maarten and Reina are also present in the room; they have been brought to life as a pepper’s ghost projection. In the context of the current museum, Maarten and Reina’s pepper’s ghost tells visitors the story of their love for art and their life’s work. In their words: 'We have lived for art. Now the collection tells the story of our lives'.
